FURUNO is pleased to announce that A.P. Moller-Maersk A/S has selected FURUNO as an approved supplier of the navigation and communication equipment, from which shipyards may choose when deciding on the specifications of a newly-built vessel or rig.

The Danish ship owner A.P. Moller-Maersk A/S is the world's largest ship owner operating well over 1,000 vessels worldwide. FURUNO DANMARK A/S is conducting business with this major ship owner on a daily basis.

In the autumn of 2006, FURUNO DANMARK A/S received an "Invitation for Markers Management for Navigation & Communication Equipment for APMM Maersk Group" with aim to formalize a vendor selection process for all A.P.
